 UNICEF tournament Category: WMA Date: 2012/1/11 Dubrovnik, Croatia In cooperation with world-known violinist, Mr. Julian Rachlin, in Dubrovnik, Croatia was organized a humanitarian football tournament for UNICEF In cooperation with world-known violinist, Mr. Julian Rachlin, in Dubrovnik, Croatia was organized a humanitarian football tournament for UNICEF with the participants of FC Barcelona veteran players like Victor Munoz, Josep Serer, Roberto Fernandez, Hans Krankl and Franz Hasil, former international Croatian players like Ivica Šurjak, Zlatko Kranjčar, Joško Jeličić and Aleksandar Ristić, well-known musicians like Mischa and Sascha Maisky, Boris Andrianov, Hyung-ki-Joo, and many others. World Minifootball Association participated as one of the tournament sponsors by providing dresses and playing surface of synthetic grass. In cooperation with the mayor Mr. Andro Vlahušić, Dubrovnik will become the Croatian and international center of minifootball. Soon we are getting new offices in Dubrovnik where the Croatian Minifootball Association will be located and branch office of World and European Minifootball Association. We are investing in several mini football pitches, so creating the infrastructure for Dubrovnik to make it a minifootball base and include minifootball as part of the tourist offer.
